Summer is officially here! That means lots of outdoor water fun for kids.
One of my favorite outdoor summer memories when I was a child is of my grandmother. She would lay down in the grass on a hot day and let her grandchildren pour buckets and jugs of water on her while she laughed and laughed.
Another fun memory is of the slip and slide that we took to a family reunion one summer. My brother, cousins and I had a blast running and sliding on the watery plastic slide.
Our kids are making their own memories playing with some of their water toys this summer. I haven’t met a kid yet who doesn’t like having fun in the water during the summer.
Read on to find out about five ways you can beat the heat, have fun in the water outdoors and make summer memories with your kids.
